الإنسان لعله يعيش في سلام

Belhob wabesalam walhilmi narfa' araya
It is by love, peace and patience
that we can raise our flags up higher

Heqol lesot al-jahl an la ukane lahem
I’d tell the voice of foolish anger

that it will never voice the sorrows of man

Al insaan la'alaho ya'eesh fi salam

so that he may live in peace

There’s a thin line between virtue
And fear and though they look alike

Both demand restraint and it’s enough
That I know where I stand in line

I’m not scared of you I’m scared of me
And I live by controlling my fool

But I still try to find the good in you
