The most enjoyable life is worthless in my eyes

Unless it were with you, O Messenger of Allah

ياسيدنا شوقنا زاد والله

مهما نطول الغياب
محمد مشتاق اليك والله

Waheshna ya Rasool Allah
We miss you, O Messenger of Allah

Ya sedna shou’na zad wallah

O our master! By Allah, our longing for you is overflowing

We mahma tawwel elghiyab

And no matter how long our separation lasts

Muhammad, mushta’ ileek wallah
Muhammad, by Allah I long for you

Muhammad, albi ‘aleek salla

Muhammad, my heart sends salutations upon you

طال سؤالى قولى ازاى كدة
عاشقة عيونا حد مش شايفاه

لو حقيقى هو غالى عليك
إرضيه فى الجنة تبقى معاه

Tal sou’ali, olli ezzay keda

I’ve questioned for so long, tell me how could this be

‘Ash’a ‘yonna hadd mosh shayfah

How could we love someone whom our eyes have never seen

Law ha’ee’ee houwa ghali ‘aleek

If he is truly dear to you

Erdheeh fel Gannah tib’a ma’ah

Follow him, and in Paradise you will be with him

For my longing has increased manifold in my heart

Wedmou’i malyal ‘een

And my tears have filled my eyes

Tam’an ba’ali sneen

For so many years my biggest dream has been

Inni azoorel Mustafa marra

To visit the Chosen One even just once
